Every year, jean-marc produces several
Paintings specifically for charity purposes.
Proceeds from the sold artworks are used
To renovate poor rural schools in laos.
We also purchase clothes and schooling
Equipment for the children in remote areas.
Since 2008, we have provided 24 schools and
Hundreds of kids with much-needed assistance,
This year's funds, from the amantaka exhibition,
The aman resorts hotel in luang prabang,
Will be allocated to repair a small dilapidated
Primary school north of town, in urgent need of
Learning tools, proper washrooms and electricity.
16 children and 1 teacher will have a better life.

When our friends barbara and roy told us
About their charity works in africa,
We immediately wanted to be part of it.
We needed to add color to our palette.
When painting for a cause, one's work
Becomes a prayer. knowing that a well executed
Brushstroke can make a kid's heart smile,
We aim to start a permanent collaboration
With the charity's founders in 2012 and
Humbly contribute to make things better.
Somebody, somewhere, is going to be happier.
Art is not only the wine, but the bread of life.

Myanmar, Man.

Myanmar, Man

When cyclone nargis made landfall in
Myanmar in may 2008, over 100,000 people died and
450,000 houses were destroyed in the cyclone's path.
To help, we hired a burmese fishing trawler on the
Eastern coast of neighboring thailand and
Smuggled in essential goods such as blankets,
Cooking tools, tents and drinking water.
We managed to reach a small village in the delta
Without being caught. 6 paintings were sold
In order to finance this operation.
Now, myanmar is opening. Our plan is to go there
next September to identify several schools
In need and begin active assistance.
